After the 2nd match of India and West Indies Amit Mishra, the leg spinner had become a spin sensation. In the second match he had given only 18 runs in his 4 overs and captured 2 wickets. He was once again the man of the match for the 2nd time. He received the man of the match award in the first match by mesmerizing the Pakistani batsmen with his beautiful spin bowling.

 

After a very long time India got a strike bowler in the form of a leg spinner. In the second match, he bowled a beautiful googly to get rid of Dwane Bravo. He was adjudged leg before wicket in the ball of Amit Mishra.

The balls had turned a lot for Amit Mishra. One of the differences of Amit Mishra with Ravindra Jadeja and other bowlers was the capability of taking wickets. In the World Cup T20 Competition, the matches are held in Bangladesh. It is a paradise for spinners. Every spinner in India had got fare chance of showing their skills against the different batsmen across the world. In that case Amit Mishra had proved that he is much more effective than Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

 

Besides Amit Mishra had shown his jugglery before Pakistani and West Indian batsmen who have good spinners in their own team. Sunil Narine is an effective spinner of West Indies and Saeed Ajmal is an effective spinner of Pakistan.

 

The only other team against whom Amit Mishra had not been tested is Sri Lanka. If India goes to the semi-finals there are chances of facing Sri Lanka in the knock out rounds. Then it will be a test of Amit Mishra against Sangakarra and Jayavardhana.
