The two-time ISL runners-up are not having the best of the result so far. The team is slowly, and steadily restoring the parity, and these stars, both overseas, and homegrown, have played contributed immensely to their gamepaly.

The name Kerala Blasters itself suggests where it hails from. Yeah, they hail from the God's own country, Kerala, and the team is owned by the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.  But, what do these things have to do here? Anything? Nope, nothing. But, they have a story of fans to say. Clamarous, vocal fans to support, wherever they are. The team have the support of the India's best, Manjappada.

The team has had a slow start to the season. In spite of having stars like Dimitar Berbatov, and Wes Brown to don their colours, the team failed to dominate the league, and their then coach, Rene Meulensteen got sacked.

Former Coach cum Player took the throne of the team, and they're now slowly getting back their momentum.

Despite their performance pathetic, they've individual performers to show, who had the opponents at their toe, and who've the enthralled the entire audience with their feet. Lets' take a look at the those players who've impressed the Kerala Blasters' faithful.

Iain Hume

Let the team have the service of Dimitar Berbatov upfront, Iain Hume is the star, who has been glossing everything for them. A fan favourite, Iain Hume's presence has helped the team march into the finals in the inaugural edition, but the Canadian attacker left the team for ATK, where he spent two-years, and clinched the coveted trophy once.

Back to Kerala, Iain Hume has been a pivotal piece in their gameplay. His presemce helps the team bolster the squad both physicallty, and mentally. He's already clinched the fans player of the month in January.

Courage Pekuson

The Ghaniain attacking midfielder is another name who's had impacted their play. Pacey, aggressive, and brilliant, Pekuson did the best he could, in order to orchestrate the play from the middle for the Southern outfit. He has scored a goal for the team, and has assisted his teammates on several occasions.

Lalruatthara

A hot contender to the Emerging Player of the season, Lalruatthara has been giving everything in order to secure the defense, and to effectively implement the attack. He has plied his trade in multitude of positions, and was effective in curbing the lethal attacks away. Strong in tackles, and in interceptions, he's a player, who has played every second of the game for them.

CK Vineeth

Scored just four goals for the team in this edition. So what! The player scored both goals with aplomb, and his goal against FC Pune City was a absolute beauty, triggering it past the talented Vishal Kaith's impregnable wall with his week foot. The goal has already been claimed as the best goal of the season so far.

With CK Vineeth hailing from Kerala, the support he's been receiving is huge, and his play has promised them. Pacey like Courage, he is lethal, and could go past any know defense.

Sandesh Jhingan

The minister of the defense, Sandesh Jhingan is a versatile defender, and is their captain for the fourth season. With the team since the inaugural edition, he's been a loyal Manjappada ever since the introduction of the Indian Super League. Tenacious, and good in tackling, his commanding performance at the back makes him the best defender in India.

His never say die attitude has always helped the tuskers in defense, and is another player who makes cut into the list. He also a good attacker, and is known to be the goal-scoring for the national side. However, he's no goals in his pocket for the team he's been playing fir the past 4 seasons.
